Race Meeting Report Thursday afternoon 16th April 2026

Thursday afternoon 16th April 2026 saw the Club run an eight (8) race program on a pleasant autumn day, featuring the 12th Anniversary running of the Perc Verning Memorial.

THE COMPETITION WINNERS WERE:

THE PUB DRIVE OF THE DAY: was won by TOM ISON driving Unit Forty One from the on-site Stables of Barry Williams in Race 1 the TAB App Pace. TOM receives a $30.00 Meal Voucher courtesy of sponsor The Pub, Gunnedah Rd Tamworth.

HAZELLS FARM & FERTILISER SERVICES LOCAL TRAINER AWARD:

(a random draw from the 67 phone area trainers, who have a horse engaged in the race meeting)
