Race Meeting Report Thursday Afternoon 11th June 2026

Thursday afternoon 11th June 2026 saw the Club run an eight (8) race program on a cold and drizzly early winter's afternoon.

The day was fully sponsored by Wests Entertainment Group and included an afternoon high tea and punter's competition for Wests Members who were in attendance.

The Punter's Competition (encompassing races 2 to 7) was won by Greg Dening who selected 5 of the 6 winners for the included races, with Joy Missen coming in second after countback selecting 4 of the 6 winners. Congratulations to both who now have some extra punting dollars to add to their TAB accounts.

THE PUB DRIVE OF THE DAY: was won by ANTHONY VARGA driving Far Out Ringo from his own Westdale Stables in Race 8 the NSWRL Magic Round @ Scully 26-28 June Pace. ANTHONY receives a $30.00 Meal Voucher courtesy of sponsor The Pub, Gunnedah Rd Tamworth.

(a random draw from the 67 phone area trainers, who have a horse engaged in the race meeting)
