Race Meeting Report Tue 11th January 2022 - The Pub Group Gold Nugget

Tuesday Evening 11th January saw the running of the 21st The Pub Group Gold Nugget Race meeting with the Gold Nugget being won by the Clayton Harmey trained and Blake Hughes driven PORTALEGRE NZ. Owned by the Curran family Racing Group, manager Carol Curran is ecstatic about the win and is looking forward to taking delivery of the 14.78gram nugget.

The Club thanks Paceway Tamworth Track Curator - Pat Spence for his skill in presenting a track for the meeting that stood up to 25mm of heavy rain two (2) hours before the meeting commenced. Although race times were a little slower than of recent, the full eight (8) race program proceed without incident.
