Thursday afternoon 26th August saw an eight (8) race program conducted under clear skies, but with a brisk late winters breeze blowing.
Dean Chapple was again trying to achieve his 700th career winning race drive at the meeting, and this time achieve this honor driving LESSETER SHANNON from his own stable in Race 4 - Congratulations to DEAN for this achievement:

Gemma Coney driving three (3) winners all from her father's Tamworth Stable
Tom Ison driving three (3) winners , one (1) from his Father Andy's stable, one (1) for Quirindi trainer Brendan Hunt and one (1) for local Tamworth trainer Neil Kliendienst.
There was only one other race on the program and that was won by Caitlin McElhinney driving AKUMA from her own local Tamworth stable, with Caitlin also being awarded The Pub Drive of the Day fro this achievement.
