Thursday afternoon 17th December saw a smaller seven (7) race program conducted on a hot and humid early Summer's afternoon. The track had received 21mm of rain overnight with showers and storms threatened during the meeting, but all went around meaning the water truck was out on the track during the meeting to keep the dust under control.
The meeting saw the introduction of the NSW HARNESS RACING INDUSTRY - STANDARDBRED RE-HOMING COMPANY'S new driver's race colours being worn during the meeting by DEAN CHAPPLE. Dean will wear the colours through until the end of January.
Spectators, inclusive of Owners, Members and General Public were again welcomed back to the race meeting under strict COVID-Safe conditions. The on-site TAB Tote was in operation.

SHORT SEASON PREMIERSHIPS:
Due to the Australian Harness Racing Season changing to 1st January to 31st December each year, the Club has instigated Short Season Premierships to fill the period between the end of the last full premiership season on 31st August 2020 and the start of the new premiership season on 1st January 2021.
