Race Meeting Report Thursday 12th August 2021

Thursday afternoon 12th August saw an eight (8) race meeting conducted on a warm and dry winter's afternoon, however under strict COVID Lockdown protocols, with no spectators permitted on site. Additionally, with Tamworth in precautionary lockdown, horses and participants from other lockdown areas were not permitted to attend and those from non-lockdown areas were required to remain in certain isolation areas within the facilities during the race meeting. There was no contact allowed between non-lockdown participants and Tamworth LGA participants.

The day's competition winners were:

THE PUB DRIVE OF THE DAY: was won by ANTHONY VARGA driving NAVUA GIRL from his own stable  in Race 4. 

ANTHONY receives 1 bottle of wine courtesy The Pub, Gunnedah Rd Tamworth.

HAZELLS FARM & FERTILISER SERVICES LOCAL TRAINER AWARD:

(a random draw from the 67 phone area trainers, who have a horse engaged in the race meeting)
