Race Meeting Report Thursday 11th April 2024

Thursday Afternoon 11th April 2024 saw the Club run an eight (8) race meeting on a pleasant Autumn afternoon, the first without daylight savings and thus seeing the sun sink toward the western horizon as the last two (2) races were being run.

This meeting again saw local female driver, Caitlin McElhinney display great ability, with three (3) driving wins at the meeting. This gives Caitlin a total of eleven (11) driving wins at the Golden Guitar Paceway since the start of March this year, this now moving her to the top of the Multiquip Drivers Premiership with 16 wins for the season, two (2) ahead of training partner and last year's premiership winner, Tom Ison.

Caitlin also leads:

• The John's Auto Service Local Female Drivers Premiership with 77pts
• The Peter & Shirley Hillam Junior Under 23 Drivers Premiership with 16 points.

On top of all that, Caitlin today wins The Pub Drive of the Day $30 Meal Voucher for the third consecutive race meeting. Congratulations to Caitlin, keep up the good work.
