Saturday Evening 6th February saw an eight (8) race program conducted on a rainy Summer's evening. The track received a total of 8.5mm of rain during the afternoon and early evening, however a good racing surface was still able to be presented. Race times reflected the heavy track, except for race 3, The Bearing Accessories Local Pace which the Neil Kliendienst trained ROLAMAX managed to win with a Mile Rate of 1:58.8. followed closely by half a neck for second by the Les Enks trained NEVILLE SHANNON.
The night's racing included six (6) races sponsored by PKF New England North West a local Accounting Business a sponsor of the Tamworth Club.

Also the race meeting was the first at Tamworth for this year's annual Austalia/New Zealand TEAM TEAL - Ovarian Cancer Fundraiser. The wins by female reinswomen Elly Chapple (1), Jemma Coney (2) will see a TAB/HRNSW combined contribution of $1500.00 to the fundraiser. Also aiding the cause, the Tamworth Club conducted a Gold Coin Donation at the entry gate which saw over $350.00 collected for the cause.
