New Chairperson appointed to the Board

At the race meeting on Thursday afternoon 4th March, the long awaited announcement of the new Club Chairperson was made by Club Director and Deputy Chair Joyce Walsh.

Staefan (Stef) van Aanholt has been appointed to the position of Club Chairperson for a two (2) year term. Stef takes over the position after the completion of two (2) by wo (2) year terms by former Chairperson Julie Maughan.

Stef has recently retired after many years in the local Catholic Education System, both in head office administration and school principal positions most recently at St Nicholas in Carthage Street and St Edwards South Tamworth.

Stef brings with him skills like governance and strategic planning which he hopes will be valuable to his new position, where he will head up the Club's Board of four (4) Directors.
